After my daughter decided to play Wonder Woman, I got this idea that it would be awesome to play Hippolyta... and my girl would be my Princess Diana.
Goal is to have it done by Salt Lake City Comic Con, Sept 22-24, 2017. As always, I start with researching. I decided to wear the leather outfit from early in the movie instead of the formal fighting outfit.
I went with a different color palette than the movie version. Connie Nielson has golden hair, and her armor repeats that gold. I tried to be consistent with the shapes of the pieces, yet shift the palette more to chocolate brown, bronze and copper..

Initial fitting... still a ways to go. |

Gold makes everything better. I also edged the chevrons on the loincloth in gold. |

Vambraces and Greaves. So much I would do differently "next time." |
