Bianca's Elevation to Laurel

Every girl has their Pretty Princess Dress... you know, the one that you daydream of wearing and having everybody "ooh" and "aah" over it.  This was mine:

In January of 2007, I was recognized within the Society for Creative Anachronism as a Member of the Order of the Laurel.
Forty two people lent time and talent to making my Dream Dress into a reality.
William Dragonhearted embroidered the pearls onto the forepart.
Dona Eleanor Rowan made my gloves.
Dame Theodora of Trebizond made the coverciere.
The Honorable Lady Ashe'el Terestini (my apprentice) and  The Honorable Lady Johanne Katryn die Wier assembled everything.  Johanne did the cartridge pleating on the skirt by herself, and helped design the sleeves & the beaded contraption that held the split sleeves together.
Mistress Bronwyn Morgan the Embroiderer embroidered left from panel of the overskirt.  I did the front right.
Baron Sir Thorvald Ulfhednar worked on a sleeve and on parts of the bodice.
Mistress Bengta did the blackwork on my shift.
Baroness Mistress Sumayaa worked on the bodice embroidery.
Bronwyn y Cardigan did some blackwork on my Vigil dress.
Her Grace Mistress Caryn von Katzenburg made my scroll.
Lady Mom made satin favors embroidered with my white Tyger for everyone who worked on the garb.
And many, many more.

His Grace, Duke Sir Sean Kirkpatrick Tarragon spoke for me as a Royal Peer.
Her Grace, Mistress Caryn spoke for me as a Laurel.
Baron Sir Mathias Halfdan, called The Fish, spoke for me as a member of the Chivalry.
His Excellency, Master Ulrich, The Piper spoke as a member of the Order of the Pelican.
I was heralded by Don Sionain Padriag Cambeul.  Baron Sir Tryggvar Halfdan was my guard.  Baron Sir Thorvald escorted me.
